Arizona has changed from paper titles to eTitles, or electronic titles. When you title or register your vehicle in Arizona, your information is stored electronically in an AZ MVD Now account and you no longer recieve a paper title. You can set up and access your title and registration information at www.azmvdnow.gov.
When you sell a vehicle, an eTitle Transfer allows a seller to transfer the vehicle ownership to a buyer electronically using a secure online system that you can access from a desktop or mobile device. During the initial phase of eTitles, only titles being transferred from Arizona, from one owner to one owner and only passenger vehicles are able to use the eTitle transfer process.
